If you prefer to study at your own pace in the comfort of your home or office, or if you live a distance from our campus, these courses are for you. Distance Education students should have self-discipline and excellent reading, writing, and analytical skills. In addition to the study skills necessary for post-secondary learning, there are some specific skills that you will require to be a successful distance learner.

| Which is your course? |
Successful distance education students usually have a definite goal in mind when they select courses. Individuals can enrol in some courses to satisfy an interest or take a coherent set of courses that lead to the completion of a certificate or diploma. Links below, will guide you through the most up-to-date information on our Certificate, Association and Diploma programs, as well as other credit and special interest course offerings.

| Important Dates |
- To register:
- Registration has commenced for Winter semestered courses.
- Monthly intake and print based course registration is ongoing.
- To withdraw and/or obtain refund: Registrar's Office
- Course start and end dates:
- Most semestered online courses start on January 9, 2009 and most end April 17, 2009.
- Print courses are offered on a continuous intake basis. Students can register at anytime.
- Additional intake courses start on the first business day of each month. For monthly intake courses, students can register at anytime.
